Beloved wife of the late William M. Phillips (December 16, 1992). Proud and loving Mom of Marcia and her husband John Best and William Phillips. Loving grandma of Kaitlyn, Kimberly, and Ryan Phillips whom she adored. Dear sister of Jean S. Wilson of Dundas and aunt of Dr. John Wilson and James Wilson.
Doris was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church since 1954. Doris was a well know and dedicated piano, organ and theory teacher, having taught in Ancaster for many years. She was a member of the ORMTA and the CFMTA for more than 50 years and served in many capacities - Past President of Hamilton Branch, also served on Provincial ORMTA Council as a member and also as Provincial Secretary for a number of years. She was also the National Secretary-Treasurer of the CFMTA for 27 years.
In recognition of her many years of dedicated service she was made an Honorary member. She was a member of the L.T.T.A. of The Royal Conservatory of Music. A special thank you to the staff at Blackadar Long Term Care Facility for their care and compassion.

Ancaster on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. With the Interment to follow at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ancaster, ON.
